Literally. A temporary fix for this (and a simple one as a matter of fact, since you can't stop windows 10 from updating) is just to unplug your controller before launching GTA V, and after the game has finished loading, plug it back in. Now both the keyboard and controller should be working together again.

Hey guys just wondering I'm trying to use my controller for gta V PC, using both a playstation 4 and wired 360 controller, the gamepad calibration doesn't work? The controllers are working with the game because I can walk around but most don't due to not being calibrated?

GTA V not working with PS5 controller on steam. I just got a PS5 controller, not the console, I'm using the controller on steam big picture and it works fine on big picture mode, but when I launch into GTA V it doesn't do anything, btw I'm using wired connection, not bluetooth. is there a program I have to install or something I have to do in

When the GTA V settings are on frameless windowed mode, I can open the keyboard when pressing the left controller stick. Since this is the preset for the desktop, I assume that although running GTA V, the focus for steam is on the desktop. A Logitech F710 controller runs normally. thx for your help.
