The owner's manual appears to contain no recommended interval on when to change the auto tranny fluid on my 2010 Toyota Camry which I just bought at 86k and which has no record on any fluid changes. All the manual says to do is check the fluid every so often. I don't believe in lifetime fluids. Drivers can expect to pay $125 to $250 for a transmission fluid flush service. This is approximately twice as much as a transmission fluid change. This is due in large part to the additional fluid required. A flush will take 12 to 22 quarts, while a fluid change requires 5 to 7 quarts.
2 stoke transmission bearings rarely fail, gears occasionally fail, hard used or abused clutches often fail. My 2000 KTM 125 EXC owners manual recommends 50hrs or yearly transmission oil changes, plus I change it soon after a deep water crossing or before epic long distance trips.
