With very strong mid-range for a 600 (probably, the best in the class -- even better than Kawasaki's excellent ZX-6R), the F4i pulls smoothly and with authority from 6000 rpm upwards. Throttle response is even smooth and predictable at much lower rpm, but, like most 600s, you will need at least 6000 rpm to generate significant thrust.
This allows for a shallower oil pan, which permits lower engine placement. This lower placement improves handling through a lower center of gravity. Additionally, the highly stressed racing engine, a Honda CBR 600 F4i, receives more constant lubrication than a conventional wet sump system.

The Blackbird clipons have about a 2" rise so they should have an identical position for the rider as the stock ones, they just mount below the upper triple instead of above. These are the only F4i-compatible clipons out there that do this from the research I've done.

Moved up from a 96 cbr 900rr which I loved to death but this bike is so much more. I will say my 900 was just a little more comfortable but thr loss in comfort is well worth it. It would be hard to get me to trade this one out.
Put an old sheet or cardboard under the bike if it's not on a floor. Pull the mid fairings off and inspect the hoses. You need to mix the coolant with distilled water (50/50). If you put straight coolant in the reservior then fill it with distilled water this time. Keep an eye on the reservior.
