Equipped with the 2.4-liter engine, the Lancer is one of the quicker small sedans available. Unfortunately, fuel economy suffers. We're not fond of the CVT, either; it is slow to respond when youdrivetrain: evo has the fancy diffs and option of a stout manual (gsr trim) or sst (mr trim); ralliart is sst only. lancer is most commonly a cvt; no idea how much powah it can handle. don't quote me on this, but believe ralliart and base lancer don't have the 'full' awd system (ayc/acd).
