Posted December 25, 2014. The timing belt (cam)As far as I know does not drive the water pump on your fathers car.To replace a timing belt should cost around £200 and unless it is damaged 20,000 miles is too early for a change.Your father should only be paying for a new waterpump. Quote.

Posted July 16, 2012. diesels dont have dump valves as standard the ford focus diesels use a recirculation valve infact all diesels do so fitting a dump valve would only cause issues. i.e engine management lights , and drops in performance.
