Jag never had the 4.4, but they had a 4.2 NA version. All the super chargers on the V8's take the same oil and the 4.2 SC engines all have the same supercharger on top, you can tell this as they all have the same part number across the 4.2 R model range. The x308 is the 4.0L and a lot of items were changed when going to the 4.2.

My 2003 S-Type V6 base had a P0174 & P0171 fault code, it would stall at traffic lights, RPM's surged intermittently, and the heater would not come on. I found a vacuum problem near the firewall. I disconnected an elbow hose which had a Sadly, the F-type was tested (on the scales) at 3,839lbs for the V6 S (Road and Track) and 3,990lbs- 2 tons - for the V8 S (Autocar). It was also tested by Tiff Needell/Evo and the F-type V8-S was slower on a circuit lap than a Boxter S with 180 fewer HP.
