First Ride: 2017 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT . KTM’s definition of a sport-tourer comes from the Super Duke R matured, but still a hooligan. By Marc Cook. Updated: March 3, 2016. More Reviews.
Love both, but for street bike the KTM hands down. Both have similar ride qualities, brakes, both super fast. On a track I’d prefer the Ducati, it just has more power up top. KTM is way more fun, has cruise, WAY more fuel range, fuel gauge and you don’t have to ride it like a 600 to get it to really go. Most important, the KTM wheelies better.
The multi is just more sport-TOURING while the H2 SX SE is more SPORT-touring. The only aspect of motorcycling that the multi beats the H2 SX SE in is comfort. Other than that the H2 SX SE is better in every way. Stock with airfilter 164whp 84ft.lbs. De-restricted + tuned 213whp 97ft.lbs.
